A SPECIAL TOWN: MONTALBAN






Montalban of Cordoba is a small and very friendly town that is situated 
In red is the province of Cordoba
in the countryside of Cordoba in Andalusia, southern Spain. 
It name come from latin Monte Alban, that meaning is White Mountain

In orange is the contryside South.
In number 4 is Montalban.


















DEMOGRAPHY:


Population are 4550 habitants 
and area are 32 squared kilometers. 
Here there is warm climate.













What places you can visit in Montalban?

Commonly know as "Formas"
- There are many beautiful parks for children play with toboggan,swings and more things similar to already said and for exercise to people from any age.








- You can see all countryside from different viewpoints that make a calm and natural landscape.
 


- If you want see historical places, you will visit:

"El Calvario":The original Calvario hermitage, built during the first half of the 17th century, was a small church.The building is decorated in Neoclassical style. The church is consecrated to "Nuestro Padre Jesús del Calvario" (Our Father Jesus of Calvary); his image is in the altarpiece, which is worked in the Sevillian style.





"Madre Dios"This church was declared  a historic artistic monument in 1981, and a historical heritage of Andalusia in 1996. It was called "Nuestra Señora de los Remedios" from the 16th century to 1850.





Culture House: This building was built on La Paz Street in 1984, when the democratic town hall arrived. Cultural activities including lectures and social gatherings, public and official ceremonies, and general presentations take place here. At present the first floor is an adult education center and the main hall; the second floor houses the municipal library.



Tentecarreta Catacombs: Tentecarreta is 2 km from Montalban. Large underground galleries were found here which served as a necropolis during the 4th and 5th centuries. These galleries form catacombs which were rare in most localities of the Roman empire; the catacombs of Montalban are the only such catacombs in Spain. Tentecarreta has two galleries, crossed and oriented to thecardinal points. The galleries are narrow, tortuous, and heavily eroded due to humidity, collapses and avalanches of mud. The south gallery housed a collective burial.


GASTRONOMY:

- "Romería"The pilgrimage is celebrated on May 15 in honour of Saint Isidore the Laborer. Almost everyone in town goes to Huerta Dios, a distance of around one kilometre. 1. INTRODUCTION

This film was performed for the first time in November 2012. It is an adventure drama film and it is based on Yann Martel's 201 novel of the same name. Directed by Ang Lee. 

2. AWARDS

This film have many awards, for instance:

3. ACTORS

'PI' ADULT
'PI' AFTER THE SINKING
- Suraj Sharma: is Piscine Molitor 'Pi' Patel, the principal actor. He is an Indian actor, he was born and raised in New Delhi, India. He went to Sardar Patel Vidyalaya School where he was considered a popular student. With no prior acting experience, he was one of 3,000 actors who auditioned for the role of Piscine Molitor Patel (Pi), the boy stranded on a lifeboat for 227 days with a Bengal tiger. Since filming Life of Pi, Sharma returned to studying philosophy at St. Stephen's College, Delhi of Delhi University. He intends to continue working in film making in some capacity. Also this film, he is an actor in Million Dolar Arm (2014), Umrika (2014) and Monkey Kingdom (2015). In a television program he is Aayan Ibrahim in  Homeland (2014). He won three awards, one of them, Saturn Awards by the Best Performance by a Younger Actor.
BENGAL TIGER 'RICHARD PARKER'
- A Bengal tiger called Richard Parker that it is in the boat living together with Pi, given that they are only survivor by a sinking.
- Tabu: is Gita Patel, Pi's mother. She died in a sinking.
Adil Hussain: is Santosh Patel, Pi's father. He died in a sinking.
Ravi Patel, Pi's older brother. He died in a sinking.
- Rafe Spall as Yann Martel, the real-life Canadian novelist who wrote this story.

4. SYPNOSIS AND TRAILER 


In Canada, a writer visits the Indian storyteller Pi Patel and asks him to tell his life story. Pi tells the story of his childhood in Pondicherry, India, and the origin of his nickname. One day, his father, a zoo owner, explains that he has decided to Canada, where the animals and the family owns would also be sold. They board on a Japanese cargo ship with the animals and there is a storm, followed by a sinking. Pi survives in a lifeboat with a zebra, an orangutan, a hyena and a male Bengal tiger called Richard Parker. They are in the Pacific Ocean with aggressive hyena and Richard Parker getting hungry. Pi needs to find a way to survive.

                                       


5. MOVIE REVIEW

I think that on the one hand the worst of this film is the end because I don't wait that, due to the end have been boring for me in comparison with crux of film. On the other hand, the best of this film is special effects when they arrived an island that at night there was an amazing lights that do beautiful landscape.
In summary, I don't like this film so much because protagonist lost all his family, although next remake his life with wife and have two daughters.
